yep, another dose of good stuff

Quick note: While I absolutely love keeping tracking of the little doses of daily "good stuff"...it seriously seems to be keeping me in a much happier, healthier mood...I do realize that it probably does not make for the most thrilling reading material. Please, please, please don't feel like you have to read and comment every day. I promise from the bottom of my heart that I will not take it the slightest bit personally! Even from my dearest, most beloved friends. Seriously, guys, I so totally mean it!!!

January 1st "Good Stuff"
*Getting all 58 tubs (slight exaggeration) of Christmas decorations packed back up.

*Finishing my first book of the year...and having it be such an incredible one at that!

*Finishing my first creative project of the year...and loving that my design worked out. And worked out beautifully...in my opinion, anyway. :)

*A Criminal Minds marathon...allowing myself to watch two episodes is what gave me the chance to finish my little project.

  2. Our goal this weekend is to get the Christmas stuff down. Hopefully that'll happen...

I'm not a big fan of Criminal Minds. I saw one that really disturbed me a couple years ago and haven't been able to watch it since.

  4. Are you kidding? I live for posts like this!!! I even thought of starting a second secret hidden blog where I would transcribe my "good stuff" from my written journal into an online one. I love reading your good stuff so much :) It makes me happy too! I'm happy about finishing my first book of the year too! And actually reviewing it! I feel like I got a good start to the year.

  5. Oh no, I was nervous! I went to your old blog and couldn't find you!!!! I am so glad that you are here. I absolutely love reading your ever day stuff posts. I'll have to go back and read the rest of this one.

I watched endless hours of the Criminal Minds marathon. I love that show! (Today I am watching the NCIS marathon).

Ugh, I haven't even started to take down the Christmas decorations. I did have Rich help me get the empty totes out of the attic.

One more day of vacation then it is back to school for me.

Off to bookmark this and read the rest of your posts.

    take care,
    Dawn

  8. Happy New Year!! I have been so busy with the Christmas prep and after that I have been a bad blogger and haven't made the rounds. I will come back when I have more time. Just wanted to say Hi!!

BTW, Criminal Minds is the bomb! I totally have a geek crush on Reid!! So smart and cute!!

  9. I love to visit your new site. It makes me appreciate my day and think about what has been good.

We have cleared all our Christmas decorations and I feel like the house is clean again.

I am hoping to join a new scrap challenge which allows me to make a page a week using the prompts, but it reflects on the last 10 years and how life has progressed. I am quite excited by that.

  10. Jean,
Awww...you're too sweet...and YOU make me smile!

    Amanda,
I totally understand what you mean about Criminal Minds...seriously, I do! They all pretty much disturb me, sometimes to the point where I can't sleep after I watch it. Yet still I'm addicted. Don't suppose that says much for my mental health, does it?

    Staci,
Actually, it wasn't. I'll show a picture after the recipient gets it. I soooooooo need to clean up my scrap area so I actually can scrapbook again though!

    Chris,
Me so very happy you followed through on that idea!!!! :D :D :D

    Dawn,
I'm so happy you're back to blogging again! Don't you worry, my dear...I would never hide from you!

    Pat,
I've really enjoyed that show every time I've seen it, too! Unfortunately my TV viewing hours are limited...otherwise I could see NCIS being a real favorite, too.

    Ana,
    You are the BESTEST!!!!!!

    Stephanie,
Oh god, I hear you...I have it bad for Reid, too!!! Despite the fact that I'm probably old enough to be his mom...sheesh, how sad is that.

    Vivienne,
Your new scrapbooking challenge sounds so awesome! I really should join something like that, too...but I'm afraid I'd just be setting myself up for failure. You will be sharing your layouts, won't you?

  11. All very wonderful things!!! I packed up our Christmas decorations as well. I threw some old stuff away, including damaged boxes, repackaged everything neatly, and somehow ended up with more boxes than I started with! I think my ornaments were getting jiggy with it while we children were nestled all snug in our beds!

  12. My big problem with Criminal minds is the I can only remember two faces from it and they both look like dogs in my brain. The curly haired balding guy, he looks like a bulldog, and the young autistic-ish guy looks like a Lhasa Apso. But, I've only actually SEEN the show once, so don't take that personally! :D

    Wadja make?
